How to reach the Agios Pavlos Studios on Amorgos
You can reach Amorgos by plane or boat.
Either by foot, car or motorcycle, arrive in Athens by plane or boat and go to the Piraeus port (airport shuttles are great), where ferries depart for Amorgos.
We suggest you take the boats that leave Piraeus late in the evening since the trip to Amorgos is 8 hours long (avoid the high-speed ferries that only sail on calm seas and may change ports of call!).
In Amorgos you will disembark at the Katapola or Eghiali Port. Here you can choose between a rental car (or scooter), bus or taxi to reach the Agios Pavlos Studios which are about seventeen kilometers from the port of Katapola and five kilometers from the port of Eghiali. We suggest renting a car since the island is long with peaks that even reach 800 meters and it's great to be able to tour them in total freedom! However, if you choose the bus, the service is good and cheap and connects all towns on Amorgos.
If you chose a car, follow the directions for Chora and then for Aghios Pavlos where the studios are located: it's less than a half an hour trip from Katapola and ten minutes trip from Eghiali. If you take the Chora - Tholaria bus, it stops in Aghios Pavlos (where you get off). The stop is 500 meters from the Agios Pavlos Studios.
